Jerome Ashby had a profound effect on many people throughout his career. He cared deeply about his friends, colleagues and students and had an easy way of making everyone he met feel like his friend. Now we have the opportunity to give our friend the legacy he deserves.

A scholarship in Jerome’s name will ensure that our friend will be honored and remembered in a way that was close to his heart for generations to come. Teaching his students and passing on his love of music was always a priority. To ensure that Jerome’s passion for educating future generations will be kept alive, we are working to establish The Jerome Ashby Scholarship, an award to be given annually to a special horn player at Jerome’s alma mater - The Juilliard School.
